Spicy Filipino Men New hope for 2008?

Ladies and Gentlemen, GLBT and Straight - Happy New Year!

Being HIV+ since 1983, I look back on 2007, and remember the moments that shaped my life and the world around me. There were good moments and there were sad moments, but ALL will be remembered fondly. Then, as I reflected back, I realized a startling fact that is going unnoticed by us all, and a sad reality, a disturbing truth began to surface...a truth that no one seems to care about...

There are NO support groups or social outlets for my HIV- (negative) friends and loved ones.

True, I am and always will be grateful for the monumental progress made for those of us who are HIV+. We are continuingly being welcomed by an unending "Welcomming Mat" of support from every direction. However, are HIV- (negative) people an "At Risk Group" too? Do HIV- (negative) people have concerns and needs as well? Who is publically reaching out to HIV- people, to meet other HIV- people for support? Does ANYONE care about HIV- (negative) people anymore or are they on their own?

2008 and new hope for a better tommorrow is approaching much faster than we realize, and I welcome the possibilities for HIV- (negative) people willingly.

Best Wishes for a happy New Year;

Robert
